The new LG heat pump water heater uses the same air-to-air energy exchange you’re used to in your home to provide residential hot water. Additionally, this new hot water system comes with the bonus of a built-in dehumidifier, improving overall health and comfort. This state-of-the-art water system is the highest in energy efficiency and qualifies for all available applicable tax credits & energy rebates.
Each $1 spent in energy will yield on average of $4 of hot water with the average cost of hot water at 30 cents a day. After the applying rebates, the hybrid system costs slightly more than a standard water heater but then save nearly $350 a year in utility costs.
